BHoffman Posted March 30, 2016 Report Share Posted March 30, 2016 I think it will. I've filed the late 2553 with a late filed 1120S last year. Everything return was accepted, and the client got the penalty letter. I used the First Time abatement request over the phone and that worked. Get your POA up front because you will need it, and let the client know that a penalty letter will probably be coming and that they need to give that to you ASAP.
