Booger
Hello, everybody. New client prepared his own Form 4868. On his handwritten form, he has his name, but NOT his spouses. However, he HAS listed both his SS # and his wife's SS # on the appropriate lines. If filing separately for 2008, will the IRS accept this extension for BOTH spouses? Instructions for the form were no help. I'm thinking YES, since both SS #s were listed. Thanks in advance for your responses. Booger
Wayne Brasch
Booger, I think for the most part since we are all numbers in the IRS computer system, this extension would be valid for both of them. Wayne Brasch
