bstaxes
I have a couple of Sch C and Sch F's, that is their only income (either Sch C or F or both). Looking at the Sch M there is a line for this income but it is not being carried over. Should they get this $400? Do I need to override the form? Is there a bug in the ATX program? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Gail in Virginia
I have a test return that I use, and when I made sure the sch c, sch SE, and the proper social security numbers were entered, the amount from the schedule c less the 1/2 se tax subtracted from AGI flowed onto the form just fine. I did not have to override anything to get it to work.
TAXBILLY
I did my own (Schedule C) and had no problem. taxbilly
Kimberly K
I ran into the same thing, but then I looked over the income phaseouts for the Schedule M. The Making Work Pay Credit is reduced by 2% of Modified AGI that exceeds 75,000 or 150,000 for MFJ. Is the taxpayers income is over the limit?
