ILLMAS Posted February 18, 2010 Report Share Posted February 18, 2010 An associate of mine, informed that one of his client recieved a 1099A, but the problem is she hasn't foreclosed nor has the house been sold, our guess is that she was in the process of foreclosing, then her bank sold the note to another bank, so this new bank they are not going to get paid and issued a 1099A for 2009.
