Outside of advising him on the Prohibited Transactions, I don't know much about them. I know most of the Big Boys (Fidelity, Schwab, etc...) do not handle them. But if they want to pursue this, they need to find a custodian who specializes in this and they have to do their own research on this and at their own risk. JohnH Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 I get a few inquiries about this, and I also tell them that if they simply must do this with their retirment funds, they should look for a custodian who specializes in this type of activity.
