The help file in ATX mentions only attaching to business returns. And, I tried attaching the PDF, created the efile, but the PDF is not listed as one of the forms in the list of efiled forms. I could not think for the life of me where a general ledger (G/L) came into this mix nor why you would want to send it to the IRS. I REALLY need a break. kcjenkins Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 If you can save that pdf as a csv file, you can then open the return, click the drop-down menu, and select Import Sch D Data, and the program will pull the info into the Sch D. Make sure the gross sales are reported to tie out to the 1099-b. and don't tell Bees Knees since this is not technically correct either. I have done this for 20 years even before efiling and only once got asked for the back up by a state not even feds. i have had 1099's over 200 pages for some managed funds in trusts, its crazy. He has Michigan (resident state)and Missouri (non resident)to file also and Michigan wants a copy of Missouri and Missouri wants a copy of the 1040. rich Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 Be careful,I did one return with multiple pages transactions and imported data to D1, I found software wasnt correctly calculating total on line 2-F on sch D which flows from D1.I had to override.
