Bill N Debbie Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 Had fed efile reject, corrected but now state is still showing validated in efile mgr.... program will not let me create new state efile. can I just delete the efile and recreate or is it going to ... Beth Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Bill, When you originally created the efile was it created as a Fed and State Only or as Piggyback ? If it is Fed and State Only, and something needs to be changed, you'll have to hope it gets rejected, otherwise you would need to amend. If it is a Piggyback, then you should send an email to tech support and inform them. On a piggyback return, if the fed is rejected the piggyback is supposed to automatically rejected as well. It was a piggyback, I tried to call tech support but got stuck on hold til I had to do something else. If I email tech support what data do I give them to identify the file? Thanks again!
