Dear Jack.... I always round when inputting info. But I guess I have a "bad" habit of always hitting the "." key after entering a whole number. In that case, disregard my sarcastic question to ATX. I just need to change my way of inputting.

Dear ATX.... When inputting info on Form 8949, why, oh why, am I not allowed to put a decimal after the dollar amounts? It keeps reminding me that "The value must be numeric and without cents (Limited to 15 characters) OR Expired." Just wondering!!

I am looking for a new/different way to track my accounts receivables / payments received from tax returns prepared in ATX. What programs are other preparers using for this purpose. Any programs that are compatible with ATX? Looking for ideas. Thank you in advance!

I am under the impression that there is a maximum penalty of $285.00 per household for 2014. So the penalty in your example would be $285. Not the $600 (1% of income.) Please correct me if I am wrong.
