  4. Seems the previous post by members on this topic have been removed. I'll try to remember some of the questions. Doug, could you please let us know why there are so many complaints about your company not paying fees owed to independent tax businesses that do business with you. Can you also specifically explain why your company sponsored a losing NASCAR team while also not paying service bureau fees that you owed to so many tax business owners that used your software. What is to say you won't continue to do that?
  5. But if you purchase through TRX and Doug Hughes and company keeps your rebate money for their own use (or NASCAR sponsorships) instead of paying to you when it is due, then there is no software savings. Thanks for your help though Don. Do you not know answers to other part of my questions though? Anybody? I see that Doug Hughes posted here earlier but I guess he won't answer any of these questions.
  6. What is difference between TRX Alliance and TRX Software Development, Inc? If want to stay with Redgear software, why do we have to still be with TRX Alliance? Can't Redgear software be purchased direct from Redgear? How was a NASCAR team sponsored in 2011 if TRX Alliance owed so many clients Service Bureau Fee money from 2010? How do you not pay independent tax business owners money you owe them but can justify sponsoring a NASCAR team? If anyone can please answer as these are serious questions.
  7. Thanks for the info @MikeDubin. You haven't read anything from me on here before as I just found this board. You might have seen post from me on other sites or it could have just been others in my same situation. I have really held back from posting too much up until now because I felt doing so could hurt my chances of ever getting my money. However, after 2 full tax seasons of cash flow for them there is no reason to hold back any longer. I have promised Doug Hughes that I will post everywhere possible. to @John A, yes my situation comes from being a Service Bureau offering bank products with them. If you did not offer bank products then there would not have been the same opportunity for them to take money like they have done from me and other Service Bureau clients. Thank you for making that point.
  8. Glad I found this thread. Cathy, great work. If you do file the amended returns it will just be very important for each of your clients to understand the possibility of some day having to pay it back. As long as you explain it and have they have total understanding of what might happen you should allow yourself to sleep well at night. You will have done all you can.
  9. I am wondering if anybody can explain the relationships to all of these people/companies as well as provide any EIN that you might have for any of them. I have been trying to collect over $50,000 in Service Bureau fees owed to my company for the last two years and continue to have issues. The more and more I learn about the company the more I find out that there is more and more about them that I really do not know. I used the TRX Allicance software for the 2009 tax year in 2010 and was supposed to receive the service bureau fee money in June of 2010. Nothing has ever come other than lies, stories, excuses, promises etc.etc.etc. I have now found relationships with all of the following companies but not sure when they came into existence and exactly how my money has been used. I am of the belief that my funds have been used to fund the developement of new tax software that will allow TRX to have their own software instead of reselling another companies software. If you have any info or EIN for the following TRX Alliance Taxworks RedGear Tax Refund Xpress LLC InCorp Services INC Adroit Software Terrell D Hughes JR Doug Hughes Dustin Hughes Kathy Hughes TRX Software Developement Incorporated FREE File 1040Works Oh, I did my bank products through Chase the year I used TRX Alliance and was told by TRX that Chase did pay all of the service bureau fees but apparently SBBT didn't pay them that year. So my money was received by TRX and there should be no reason I wasn't paid. I would appreciate anyone's experience with any of the above. I only just found this board.

    TRX

I have had ongoing issues with service bureau payments as well. Many, many, many things about it seem very shady. Is there ANYONE that can vouch for the company as having been paid their service bureau fees on-time exactly when originally promised? Also, if you payment was delayed did you receive interest payments on the money or did they use your money for free.
  11. In reading http://www.ripoffreport.com/computer-software/trx-software/trx-software-i-agree-murfrees-80874.htm there is a posting from an employee that specifically says that you will be paying for one software but be sent a different one instead. @Mike Dubin, where is the Taxworks seminar on May 23 going to be as I would like to attend one and speak directly with someone as well.
