Hi, ATXers, I wonder which software is good for IL sales tax return as well as payroll which is not expensive. Any recommandation would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder what time is the deadline at Central Time. Anybody knows it?

I am using ATX. The cutomer signs Form 8879 and IL 8453. Yes. I print out these forms before the customer comes.

I wonder how you are doing the income tax return. For me, I finish the return and close it. And I work on other file. The customer comes in to sign it. I don't open the file since it takes too long to open it. Later at night I open the file and input the date signed and create it. This way, it takes too much time. I dislike this program this year. How are you doing?

I did not have this crash a lot before. I was lucky but I wonder why I am getting more crash after updating 12.10 and more slowness. Anyone have same problems?

I tried to update it. But, I couldn't even open the program. It made me almost panic since I didn't back up the data yet. I tried to restore the system file by going back to the previous date. But It failed. I tried to go back to another previous date but failed again. But somehow, when I tried to open the program, it worked with new update 10. All data is there. I was relieved. It is so stressful that I don't have stable software. It almost harms my health in this busy season. I had to pray for this dumb thing. Try best as you can.

It doesn't show up automatically. I didn't have this problem before this year. The client pointed out it is missing on his return which I didn't catch. All assets are gone. Be careful that everything is included on the tax return even it is automatic. This software is like a garbage with all the problems I have.

Yes. He got the degree while he was a foreigner. He tries to get the secod degree here in the United States. I know that the student with F-1 visa who studies here is not elligible for the American Opportunity Tax Credit (ATOC) since she is not a resident for the tax purpose. Likewise, since he was not a resident in the United States, I think that the first four year requirements do not apply to him right now. What is your opinion?

The taxpayer completed 4 yr college in the foreign country when he was a foreigner. After he married a US citizen, he came over to the United States. He began the education at the college in United States from 2012. He received 1098T. He has never applied for any education credit before. Is he elligible for American Opportunity Tax Credit on the tax return? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I tried but it didn't work. Is the form IL 1040 available?

I have a question. After I install atx and setup sharing the folder and security on the server, do I have to install Atx software again on workstation as I usally do? If so, when do I do mapping? Your advice is greatly appreciated.

The agent from IDES gave me the wrong info at first by instructing the taxpayer pay the penalty. When I called IDES today, the agent said he couldn't remove it since the collection department holds it. Probably I can remove it by calling the collection dept. Thanks.

You are right. But the agent insisted that the taxpayer should pay the penalty since it was too late to file them and those estimated taxes were sent to collection agency. Actually those zero wage returns were filed recently. Is this penalty valid?

The department charged $460.00 on zero wage report (UI 3/40) each for three qurarters for late filing penalty. Is it a new law from IDES recently? I don't know how to protest it. Did anyone have the same experience? Any input would be appreciated.

Does anybody know how long it takes for the electronically filed individual income tax return to be posted on the IRS system? The mortgage lender for the taxpayer wants to pull the transcript from IRS as soon as possible. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder why one computer shows Form 941 (2011) on the new form list and the other computer doesn't show it on list. Do you have the same problem? Any input is appreciated.

I have a vista pc. When I try to print, the screen pops up and asks me to do something but I couldn't do. The screen shows the printer name, the print rage of pages from 8224 to 8229 and so on. I don't know why. I had to reboot the computer then it worked. But, again I have the same problem after minutes.

I have the printing problem using ATX. I am tired of rebooting the computer. Do you have this problem? I wonder how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

If I want to use multipe computers on the network, do I need to buy multi-user license?

I wonder why one of the computers doesn't update Form 941(04/10). Do you have any idea on this? I tried couple of times but failed.
