  1. That is correct - based on 2008 returns - last year's 'stimulus' was an advance on this year's return - that is why certain groups like divorced parents who switch claiming years are also getting $300 for the minor

  2. Nice looking dog there - I have an 11yr old epileptic dalmatian and an 8 yr old beagle with an ear infection..I put the dal in his kennel in the back hall along with the extremely friendly cats - if I can catch them... And there are still those who come to the plain decrepit back door...

  3. Am I the only one with family members that think they come above and before everyone else? As it is I charge family a tad less and mom-in-law nothing...i've had over 200 people come thru the door (it's just me) in 6 wks...why do they think they have special priviledges?....

  4. Just had a client come in via grandma and say 'I'm not paying' she never did before..parents always did dependent return and all that..this on her own - weren't we warned about recovery rebate credit.... so filed return (without pay) with normal return...now complaining tha she got more back (yeah - I know) and then sends check stub with grandma from state refund.....uhmm..let me get this straight. You're refusing to pay because you got more money in your pocket than my initial info sheet said? Heaven forbid someone gets less due to intercepts!!!

  5. Okay, I think I figured this out. ATX (after an hour on hold) tells me to call IRS e Help desk. I tell them what's going on - cannot e-file business returns even though i did 2 yrs ago) and they tell me I'm only accepted for 1040 returns) I ask when did that happen seeing as 2 yrs ago i e-filed a couple 1065's..they say 'i don't know'. My opion...after IRS went to new system for business returns CCH did not follow for ATX customers..hence we get screwed becuase we're just small/home offiv=ce users and not huge corps

  6. Oh, and the guy advetrtising $27 for 1040 and $15 for adltn forms... Well, if you're filing 1040 you have additional forms..but he's charging for forms that aren't required - WI EIC-A is for peeps that have more than 2 dependendants...Schedule 1 Form WI is part of formWI @! why separate charge

  7. My usband was trold by HRB person that since he's retired we should file separately and I should do Head of Household...WI is a community property state! I said maybe he came from a state that was different - and what's up with the HOH thing..why does everyone think they're entiltiled?

  8. HRB got us done in 45 min...why do you need more time? (note fed refund after fees was 3k - before i even got down to the details of rentals the refund was large - looked back HRB charged 1k for return...no kidding

  9. Hi - it's your cousin (no - you're my husband's cousin..) this place said i was supposed to get a lot back but now goverment says i owe them - what's up? How fast can you get this year's stuff done?

Please tell me i'm not the only one dealing with this stuff..LOL

  10. What's odd is I've been receiving accepted acks for awhile now, but earlier this week all the ones that had to be resubmitted due to the WI 1 OS error came back again (after being accepted) and now read IRS Cleared. Some of those clients have their refunds others have been calling and all the website says is they're being processed.

  11. Most of mine rejected with an error code about the Sch OS not present - none of the returns had this schedule anyway. Others on the other board have been having the same problem. There was an update to form 1 today. Hopefully it all works out. Happy filing to everyone:))

  12. Last season ATX did charge me an initial $10 fee - but it was only the one time on enrollment...this season when I signed up for FeeCollect it listed an inital fee - but it was never taken out my account or billed to me - after the enrollment was approved and finalized that fee was no longer listed. I think, depending on who you talk to in support, they get confused and don't realize that FeeCollect is not really to be considered a bank product.
