Have any of you who ordered Max from TRX received your Master Tax Guide and 1040 Express Answers? I emaied ATX this morning to see why I have not received them and they answered saying that I did not qualify. I replied and asked them why I did not qualify but have not received an answer to that yet. Joann

THAT IS BAD!!!!

Taxpayers filed single for 2008. They married in May, 2009. They are closing on a house next week. They want to amend 2008 returns to get the credit. They both qualify. Can I use the whole credit on one return or amend both returns and use half on each? Both names will be on the title and mortgage. Joann

Couple not living together, still married , have not lived together for 15 years. Wife has filed head of household all this time because she has the children with her. Husband has filed MFS. Divorce will not happen because of respect for husbands parents. Is there anyway possible that he can file single after all this time?
