Byoung
I have sent 1120 returns with direct debit scheduled on March 15. However, every single return I file with direct debit scheduled rejected with following code; Error Code : X0000-005 The XML data has failed schema validation. I checked my return and refiled but same rejection. Is anyone have any idea what is this about? Thank you.
Cathy
It sounds like what I read in IRS's Quick Alerts to software vendors, etc.. You might want to wait a day or so to see if ATX is going to get up to speed. Worse case scenario is to mail it by 3-15-13? I know what you're thinking! I don't blame you! :)
Lee B
I efiled an 1120 with a direct debit payment on Tuesday and it went thru just fine. Either your efles rules folder is corrupted or some of the efile contents of your return is corrupted. There were some posts on the ATX Board about how to delete the contents of your efile rules folder, so it will repopulate cleanly. If your client is set up with EFTPS, the payment could be made that way.
joanmcq
Or you've got something typed in all the returns the wrong way. A character that MEF doesn't recognize. On state forms, the 3rd party authorization was often the culprit. When you click on the red box in the rejection window, where does it take you? mcb39
Do you have a phone number listed for the taxpayer (who owes the taxes)?
