Single Dad
Client with a 4 yr Degree, RN at a Hospital is attending online classes for her Graduate Degree. The additional degree will only result in additonal pay. My thought is to take the tuition expenses off on the schedule A rather than the tuition deduction. Actually results in a higher refund on the return. When following the chart provided in Pub 17 she meets all the test's of including on sched. A Seeking additional opinions here besides my own. MN2V
It "enhances" her present job...Sch A sounds good to me. That's why she pays you the big bucks...
BulldogTom
So long as the degree does not qualify her for a different job (ie doctor), I would agree with you. Tom Lodi, CA
