joanmcq Posted June 20, 2016 Report Share Posted June 20, 2016 Just had clients federal return reject. Files HOH, with dependent, CTC and dependent care credit. Return rejected because dependent care credit for that dependent was taken on another return. Not dependent taken on another return. My client has 80% custody; there is no way the DCC could have been taken on another return without the dependent. Any ideas here?
