cpa3917 Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 I am getting an e-file rejection notice on a MN non-resident return-it says that on Form MN1NC line 16 must equal line 34 of federal return. Yet there is no line 16 on Form MN1NC. Anyone know what;s going on? I am a CT CPA and my client worked a little in MN-this is taking me more time than doing the entire return! MN2V Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 The theory is that you have to recalculate the federal return not including the items not approved by MN with the latest changes (tuition, educator expenses are most common).
