jrollo
Parents claim son on their tax return. He is under the age of 23 and a full time student with qualifying educational expenses. To pay for this years expenses the son has a student loan with his father as the co-signer. My question is this: since the son is responsible for the payment of the loan can the parents claim the expenses on their return. Believe they may, but would like to be sure the parents can claim the expenses. Thank you Jeff
