  1. I can't speak for anyone else but my decision to stick with ATX appears to have been correct. I could not believe such a large company would not move aggressively to resolve the issues with their product. My software is working ok and oddly enough this on a slower computer (I am a patient person ). It's also great to be a member of such an astute forum whose members fill in my gaps .

  2. These are really good questions, because if the son didn't graduate until June, 2013, he would qualify under the full-time student rules and be an eligible dependent. My Granddaughter graduated in June and turned 19 in October so was considered a full-time student for that year. I know this is grasping at straws, but we need to cover all of the possibilities.

  4. It might be more complicated than that. Because the tax tables incorporate the standard deduction, irregular pay can sometimes create underwithholding when nothing is withheld for several weeks. Also, sometimes a bonus will be paid sans withholding. It is very hard to plan for, other than deliberating taking a smaller paycheck each week. The bottom line is that his income level is about the worst in terms of our progressive tax brackets.
