I got a better one. Client has ONE w2. I repeat one W2. We do the return for 100. We tell him it is complete and ready to pick up.......AND then...............he says well I have all this to write off. WTH???? really where from. (I was thinking maybe travel stuff).....but I was WRONG, Apparently I can write off a Grand Piano, his gas and milage, advertsiing the company pays for, travel (that he does not do, that his co-works do that are not claiming it). I was waiting for him to put his wife and dog and the kitchen sink on their the list. this might be my first year but com' on man I am not that big of an idiot.... or am I? lol

Thanks. I was able to do get through with ATX. I called the human resources and they swapped me over. Baiscally my issue was a software issue they said. but I am not able to Efile. They are now transferring me over to a level three person on getting files transfered over to Taxwise.

Sorry guys I couldn't handle ATX any longer. way to many issues and having to call every day almost, was just making me mad. I really loved the way it was set up. I felt I was able to learn a lot more. and that is great for someone like me who is a rookie. So I called them and they swaped us over to TaxWise for free. BUT..... now I need to at least get into the forms that I made on ATX. I have 100+ in there. Everytime I go to the program it opens fine. but when I go to open a return it closses and says to report the error. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, or does anyone know how I can just transfer those clients to TaxWise? I think the problem is they have cancelled me or something. cause now when I call and put my client ID in, they say I am not allowed to use that line. I hate you ATX.....sorry had to just say that.

Wish I could. My wife was able to take block classes and she never had entions with being an employee. If I am unable to do block classes. would you say NATP or NAEA is better, worse or the same?

My firend got their return done for 200 at HR block, why is mine with an 1120S more?

So long story short, but I just got into taxes about three months ago. I had to find a desk job due to a broke my sternum in the construction field. anyhow my wife is great at it. She took HR block classes and years of schooling for Accountant. but we were wondering about what is out there for me. Anyone here know of classes or what to take for someone who is a begginer? - I handle OIC and know the procedures (433-A,B,F; 633, letter, etc etc.) - I know 1040 for doing someones basic w2, 1099's, 1098's, efiling, etc etc (I think very basic stuff). - I know some of 1120's and 1065. but not that much. in all honesty I know the purpose of a K1 and getting them started in ATX with their name and SS# etc. - Quicbook Financials - S-tax if it helps. I am located in Decatur Georgia. Thanks.

grrrr it won't ;et me efile for corp. anyone else able to to efile corps? side note: I wonder why the 4562 is working fine for me without the 12.8 update. Cause I know I am only on 12.7

I have form 4562. but I do not have GA 4562 yet.

sadly I had to go this route because it actually took itself off the server last week. so I had to reinstall it. (gladly I back my files up daily....so I did not lose anything)

not a expert but can you not write off his commute to the job site? I used to work in construction. trucks are rented mostly. because they have so many. it easier for them to have a truck for 5 years and then let it go to a closed auction. I would say do it as they have it as rent. but do trust me on the rent. I promise you they do rent a ton of things. they actually have to rent out a percentage of their business for street scape and pipeline work.
