Yes but it has to be mailed in and write 2006 on the envelope. I believe you have until Aug 1st of the following year to file those. I have several every year as they don't think they qualify and don't want to stop back after they get the statement which comes out so late in our county.

I am saving this number. The fact that MN e-filing has not been satisfactory will be my reason for calling and asking for a price adjustment. Just haven't had the time yet...and I guess we add today as one more "non-producing" day...we paid for full year service and so far not receiving it.

I don't have unlimited e-filing and I am not going to e-file returns I am not charging much for, they can be mailed. I wanted to eliminate having to hand print on them. Thanks anyway...I know you are there.

Okay...I am through with tech (NON) support. They now agree that the e-files are not going thru but are being rejected...however the support people have gone home...as has the gal who would post on the ATX news that their present status is NOT to waste time re-creating MN returns as it is not working........

I am on hold with support as I write this. Even though ATX board says the problem has been corrected and we can re-create and refile the 997 error returns...DON'T as they still come back rejected. Of course this surprised the gal I am on the phone with and she is trying to find out more information.....What a day...so it's time for some more snowballs from Minnesota!

Yes. and mark the DOT box at the top of form 2106. The RR employees that I do get some reimpursement that has to be entered as reimbursement not listed on W-2.

I don't like "auditing" client's information, but maybe you could call the newspaper and check if they pay any mileage not included in W-2...

I have a similar situation in MN. I definitely take the parent as a dependent. They are just trying to get around some things. And they charge to do the paperwork of the parent paying the daughter, when they should actually just pay the daughter. We have determined most of it goes for medical supplies and little is left as true income.

You people are lucky and more power to you. But imagine you were trying to e-file MN returns...Yesterday was our first day and that was after being told on Wed to start e filing and ALL were rejected so we had to re-create them all. Frustration has to be vented somewhere and who better understands our frustration?

Not only does nobody on this forum know the answer to that...I think the people who created this "stimulus bill" probably don't even know. I don't think this was very well thought out. Just my confused mind speaking my 2 cents worth (can I get that in canadian coins?)

Mine too! Only 28 days later than it should have been....that means we should be due a refund of about 30% of our fee???
