$ Limit on direct withdrawal

You may want to have taxpayer check with his bank? I don't think IRS has a limit?

If memory serves me right one year i had a ACH debit of $17,000 or so and the taxpayer was contacted by the bank to approve because he called me to find out why that happened.

For some unknown reason, I still have taxpayers who will pay IRS with a bank check even if it is few hundred dollars. They don't want to give IRS a personal check???

Doing an extension and the payment due is over $2,000,000. I was wondering if the IRS [or NY] has a dollar limit on withdrawals?

...now you are just being nyc outrageous.

i believe i can answer your question...for a fee.

1/20th of 1% x $2 million = $1000.

bank routing and account number supplied upon request.
