michaelmars
Doing an extension and the payment due is over $2,000,000. I was wondering if the IRS [or NY] has a dollar limit on withdrawals?

Guest Taxed
You may want to have taxpayer check with his bank? I don't think IRS has a limit? If memory serves me right one year i had a ACH debit of $17,000 or so and the taxpayer was contacted by the bank to approve because he called me to find out why that happened. For some unknown reason, I still have taxpayers who will pay IRS with a bank check even if it is few hundred dollars. They don't want to give IRS a personal check??? michaelmars
lol, this is after his estimated payments of a few million. gotta love these nyc real estate "tycoons' this guy was a part owner of a building that sold for $200,000,000. We thought we had him covered with installments. but with numbers like these $2mil is a rounding adjustment.
