grandmabee
anyone use the 8829 for daycare yet this year. I have been working on it(or trying to figure out how to add expenses to the 8829.) My % is coming out 100% which is wrong. Area is 100% but once you use time % should be about 30. I can't find the expense worksheet that someone was talking about but they were using 2106 not C any help would be appreciated.

NECPA in NEBRASKA
How did you fix it? I can't get it to not be 100%.
grandmabee
that is what I was having a problem with too. On the OIH worksheet (new this year) line 1a have to be zero for it to work. Line two is normal and 1b is same as line 2 then it will give you the correct %. line 4 and 5 are the hours for daycare.
NECPA in NEBRASKA
Thank you. It's not very user friendly.
grandmabee
No its not. was way better last year but I guess they made the change so you could use the safe harbor rule.
joanmcq
There's a checkbox for daycare when you first roll the home office in the new home office worksheet. Not sure if it's still there once it's rolled.
