Christian
I notice ATX has left the 2013 hardware requirements in place for next year. I am thinking of adding 4gb of ram to my existing 4gb which will give me 8gb in total. Has anyone else found this upgrade to materially increase the speed of their machine ? ILLMAS
I went from 4GB to 16GB this year and didn't notice a difference in ATX2013 in regards to speed, it still took a while to open clients, however I did see a slight improvement opening programs like quickbook. I am currently in the process of adding a SSD drive to my new computer, I will post the results once I am finished with it. MAS
Jack from Ohio
Unless ATX moves the program to a 64bit program, 4GB of RAM is all that you need. Any additional will not help performance of ATX. On the other hand, if you have a 64bit processor and WIN7 64bit, up to 64GB of RAM will improve all operations able to take advantage of the 64bit platform. Christian
Thanks guys. This is a 64 bit machine running win 7 pro. In view of what was said I think I'll leave well enough alone.
