If any of you had seen hubby and me in the past two days; you would never have believed we were business people. We were in the woods making firewood; which is a hard, dirty and strenuous job. I wear an old pair of coveralls inherited from my Dad and we look like a couple of hobos. There is no nicer heat than wood heat on a cold winter day and we have to earn this privilege. Add the exercise, quality time spent outdoors and total feeling of well being when it is all unloaded and stacked. I know it's not for everyone; but the overalls quote that KC chose was so apt that I just had to remark on it. There is something especially satisfying about putting wood on the fire that you cut, split, and stacked yourself.
