ILLMAS
Can someone who recently set up the protection plus to NO on all returns, share how you did it. Thanks MAS
Jack from Ohio
In Return Manager, click on the Forms tab, then choose Customize Master Forms. Add the 1040EF form. Go to the checkbox to decline and check it, then save the return. This will cause it to always be checked on any returns you open in the future. This feature can be used on any form where you choose or input exactly the same thing every time. I use it extensively.

kcjenkins
The nice thing is, if you do this, it will be checked as you want it, but it can still be changed in any return by unchecking it in that return. Effectively, you are setting a 'default', but are still able to adjust if there is a special situation.

Abby Normal
I have a two page list of form customization that I add to frequently. Keep a shortcut on the desktop. Spent at least an hour making all my customizations this year. Had to put some on hold until ATX had the forms ready.
Vityaba
Yes, it's a great feature. I wish I could rollover customized fields from year to year...
Abby Normal
Agreed. I know forms change sometimes but even if they could get most of the customizing to rollover, it would save me a lot of time.
