Eli
Client is a legal assistant for a bankruptcy attorney. She states they were were having lunch with the IRS employees who check returns for people who are filing for bankruptcies. She asked them about deducting her pre-tax insurance premiums on her income tax return (I had just told her this week they could not include that on their return). They told her that she could since it was being deducted from her check. Now she wants to amend the return to include the health insurance premiums. What say ye?? Thanks! Byron
Good thing those IRS employees aren't giving tax advice.
Eli
Good thing those IRS employees aren't giving tax advice. Thank you both for the replies. I felt pretty sure it couldn't be done, but always good to get some assurance. Eli
