cbslee
IRS Letter 1444 B dated Feb 18th, showed up in my mailbox today. Amazing , definitely wasn't expecting to even see one!
Randall
A client just brought one in. I haven't received one myself yet.
jklcpa
Mine was wrong. Had both of our names on it but had the amount for only one of us. Maybe it was the letter for my husband since his name was first, like our return, but still.... Now I wonder if I'll get a letter too, and will it again have both names????? Obviously I know how much we each received.
jklcpa
Guess what came in today's mail - 1444-B in only my name, so the husband's was sent with both our names. Keep that in mind for your MFJ clients.
Jim Oh Bkkr
I know of a married couple whose "checks" were sent separately. Husband received 1200 & wife received 600. They filed joint last year.
JohnH
I've encountered two situations where the wife received the $600 in Jan but the husband hasn't received anything. Nobody has yet given me a 1444 of any kind.
