You're not missing something. It's true that you can't override this year. I wonder who came up with that idea? Probably the same person who changed the other deductions section of Schedule C where you have to go to another worksheet to enter what you used to enter directly in that section.

I don't like that either! I'd say "if it aint broke, don't fix it." ........ And try to fix the things that are "broken"

No overrides this year? That's news to me as well..

Thanks for the info TAXBILLY.

I never liked those "see attached schedule" when there was no need for a schedule. I always changed the wording on line 21 as well as when a form 2106 was the source of a Schedule A deduction.. I would just change it to say "Form 2106"/ Now you probably will have to add a lot of new, useless attachments.
