  1. https://support.gofundme.com/hc/en-us/articles/204295498-Am-I-responsible-for-taxes- Hope this helps!
  2. I can see all 2016 returns in the 2017 Rollover Manager. But when I try to rollover a return, I get the error: xxxxx could not be rolled due to communication error. I have a stand-alone installation. I tried restarting computer, restarting ATX server services, and am hesitant to reinstall ATX...
  3. My Fix Assets / disposition tab is fine. Only zip codes cause program closing for me.
  4. If you are not joking about the client letter class, please send me the signup link! All the variables I add show up as undefined........
  5. Thank you both! The ability to edit templates is awesome. But in the variables drop down list, I don't see the forms I need. It only has Federal and the regular State and Local C-Corp forms. What could I be doing wrong.
  6. I'm looking for client letters that include "mandatory first installment payments" information (NY CT-300 and NYC-300). Is there anyway to add these in to the ATX templates? The due dates for these two are still 2.5 months after year end. It would be helpful if their due dates and amounts due are mentioned clearly for clients. All inputs are greatly appreciated!
  7. Oh, wow! I've been looking at the menus and preferences all this time. Thank you so much!
  8. I haven't used this program to prepare 1099 before. Maybe I missed it in the help file... I can't find a way to change recipient's ID number to EIN format: xx-xxxxxxx. Please point me in the right direction.
  9. Did you reset the password on the website somewhere between 12/29/2017 and now? I'm still getting the "password is invalid" error message when I try to reset...
  10. Hmm, I called too and was told the system is down for maintenance.
  11. Is anyone having trouble resetting the e-services password/PIN? I keep getting the error: Error occurred in recovering password/PIN for user The password entered is not valid. Please review the password rules and try again.
  12. Hmm... I'm currently logged in and can see my e-services application without problems. Unless I'm talking about something different?
  13. Are you trying to update your Application? I was told to always access the application through the link on this website: https://www.irs.gov/tax-professionals/e-services-online-tools-for-tax-professionals
  14. If you use QB Enhanced, I would recommend using that to submit 941s and W2s.
  15. I've been using EFTPS website too. I was surprised to find this software. It seems that you can create a PIN for clients, instead of waiting for them to receive the PIN letter. I've had clients who just never receive the PIN letter. And I'm hoping the software eliminates the need to keep track of things with a spreadsheet.
  16. Sorry for double posting. I couldn't find an Edit function. I finally finished reading the Batch Provider Manual, and decided to give this a try. Like Ryanvv126 said, there doesn't seem to be many options.
  17. This is taken directly from EFTPS, the software " ...is designed for people (typically, tax professionals) who prepare and pay federal taxes for clients or multiple Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs). " So, you only have to login once to make tax deposits for ALL clients! It seems very convenient, but I haven't heard much about it. Not sure if it's worth spending time to set up. I wonder what other/better alternatives are out there.
  18. Is anyone using (or have used) EFTPS® Batch Provider Software? Would you mind sharing your experience in setting up and using this software? Thanks a million!
  19. I totally understand how you feel. What do they notice? It's always the $ they don't get to keep in their pockets.
  20. Has anyone filed Form 8809, and later find out 1099-MISC is not necessary (because payment doesn't exceed the threshold)? Would you receive notice saying 1099-MISC hasn't been filed?
