The $1200 gets reported the K1 does not.

Is there a method to enter more than one set of bank info. on the efile info form for IRS. There is only space for one set. Earlier this tax season the form had space for up to 3 accounts. Did ATX change something. Thanks for any info.! Gary

I had two on Saturday that did not include the client letter in the rollover.

My office called ATX on this issue today. ATX said it was an IRS rule that if there was an adjustment to the form SE including Sec 179, the return needs to be paper filed. We then called the IRS E-file help desk and the fellow took our name & number and said he would research & call us back. He called back within 45 min. and said the returns should be able to be e-filed. So someone at ATX or CCH is confused and creating another problem we need to work around. It looks like these will need to be paper filed unless ATX fixes the program.

I've had the same problem. I have not found a work around yet.

I have a new client who drives truck. He leaves 6am and is home each day by 6 sometimes 8pm. It looks to me in the 2106 instuctions there is no meal deduction allowed. He insist there is a deduction. The only truckers I have other than him are long haul, out Sunday evening back Friday or Saturday. Does anyone have experience with this type of driver or know where I can find more detailed info. for truckdrivers? Thanks!

The 8453 is no longer an efile form , just a transmittal. If you use the 8879 and do the practitioner entered pin , you do not need the 2006 AGI.

I'm in the same boat. I've received about 15 acks, still missing about 60. I've not heard anything elser from ATX.

I sent an email to a Senior Training Specialist for CCH Small Firms Services, asking if I should continue sending the 940 & 941's or start preparing them for paper file. Today at 2:16pm EST she responded- "Keep sending files as they are being processed and acknowledgements will be posted in the near future. They are simply verifying batches before releasing them." I believe as long as we have an original validation date before 1/31/2008 we will be fine. Otherwise CCH is going to have a big problem. It would have been nice if she would have given a date for the acks.

In the return manager, go to options, preferences,select forms. Then unselect the client letter.

If she is not claiming herself, you need to enter the additional w-2,verify she has no other income. Create the efile and resend it. You only have to paper file if she still intends to claim herself.

I got the same rejects. They all still show as transmitted also.

In the return manager , uncheck the completed box. Open the 941 , creat efile. Open the return manager and check the completed box. Then go back to the 941 and close do not save it again. Also, be sure you do not have the 941 and the 940 in the same return. Each signature form has to be in its own file and efiled separately.

The forms are ready for efiling. I just updated. I will soon try to send a few.

Deb, The network will work the way you want it to. I can't tell you how to do it because I don't know how to do it. I called a guy who sets up networks because I wanted it to work with no problems. He asked me how I would use the network and many other questions and then set it up. That was in the year 2000. I have him come in each year at the start to review my computers and system. In 2007 his time cost me $130.00, well worth the money. This way I can do what I need to do and not stress about the network.

I saw that post also Booger. I don't understand it though. I created & worked on a 1041 on 12-13-2007, it was missing the K-1's at that time.

I also use the same number for everyone. Have done it that way for 7 years.
