mcb39 Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 I alternate between an Iomega Ego 500 G and a Maxtor One Touch Mini which is 80 G. Either one will hold several backups of my entire system. My Ego is actually a Toshiba and very highly rated. Also have a 350 G Ego for my laptop. These I use for complete system backups. Individual files from different programs have their individual Jump Drives. Amazing the amount of info you can put on those little guys. North Idaho Rich Posted March 24, 2013 Report Share Posted March 24, 2013 Something to keep in mind also is even the backup hard drives can wear out. I use a double system where the same info goes into 2 backups. I replace the drives every 2 years since they are not expensive. Getting quite a collection of them.
