mcb39 Posted September 12, 2013 Report Share Posted September 12, 2013 As I am working on extensions in the 2012 program, I am finding several improvements and enhancements in the 12.18 upgrade. FYI, so far, my creation and filing has been pretty flawless and without incident. I hadn't realized before how many changes had been made to the final version. SaraEA Posted September 13, 2013 Report Share Posted September 13, 2013 If your whole computer is slow, I'd worry about some spyware or malware in there. Be sure your protection is up to date (should be on automatic update). Install a free one too, like Malwarebytes, and run that every so often. I find it catches a few things Symantic doesn't. mcb39 Posted September 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2013 I have Malwarebytes as well as CC Cleaner in addition to AVG. I just got a notice that this laptop (XP) needs to shut down to activate the updates. Sometimes I think they throw us a bad apple and then send us a fix.
