artp Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 I have been using LastPass for several years, but am looking for better alternatives. I am a single user and need a manager that I can use mostly on my desktop, but would also like to consider on my phone as well. Would appreciate your thoughts. Quote
Abby Normal Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 I started using Bitwarden, because it was so highly recommended. It's ok but I prefer the one built into Firefox. 2 Quote
Catherine Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 I use an ancient version of 1Passwrod that is still 100% local (on my machine). I know others who use the cloud-based version and like it. It's very easy to use, but I wish they still offered a local-only version. Quote
Lion EA Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 Hubby uses Dashlane and loves it. I've never gotten into it. Still very old school with a book on my bookshelf, a generic-looking file on my desktop computer, and a few cryptic reminders on a post-it note on my desk for software/app passwords that have to change every 30/60/90 days. 3 Quote
artp Posted May 16 Author Report Posted May 16 Thanks for all of the replies. I also got a suggestion from another local tax preparer who has used the free version of MordPass for several years and is well pleased so I am going to give it a try. 1 Quote
