Catherine
Hey folks -- Who has transmitted 1099's before? I sent some in last week and the status is "Transmitted to EFC". Should I expect _some_ kind of acknowledgment that they were accepted? This was a "test" client with only a few 1099's; I have a whole slew more ready to go once I'm sure they are actually getting through. So, how do I tell? TIA, Catherine
NECPA in NEBRASKA
I have always received acks for 1099's. It may take a long time, but I always got them. I think that I saw someone say on one of the boards that they had received at least one 1099 ack this year.
Margaret CPA in OH
I received one but another I transmitted shows transmitted with no rejection errors. However, when I look at the history, it shows that it was rejected. I can't recreate and send again because it is still in transmitted state. Yikes! See the suggestion I made under the thread e-file rejection for syncing the files with the EFC.
