Tax Prep by Deb Posted March 6, 2013 Report Share Posted March 6, 2013 I used the IRS e-service for the first time this morning to electronically submit form 8821 because they would not give me any information on my clients refund that is being held up (EIC filed on 1/3/13). They say they can't confirm my 3rd party authorization so my clients agreed to have me file the 8821 (I filed one for each). jklcpa Posted March 6, 2013 Report Share Posted March 6, 2013 If it goes through the CAF like the 4868s do, then it takes some time to show up in the system. However, when I filed the 4868s through e-services, I called in right afterwards and the agent gave me a direct fax number to send in the POA while I was on the phone with her.
