ILLMAS
If you are not careful, you will print out the forms you want to create in PDF, so make sure you uncheck the "Print to Printer" or click on the other tabs besides Filing to create your PDF. Found that out the hard way. Thanks for posting this info.
Jack from Ohio
Change the setting in preferences and print packets.
ILLMAS
Thanks Jack, I guess I am so used to the prior feature/function one tends to complain.
taxxcpa
I use PDF Factory as my default printer, so I never print out 25-pages I don't want by mistake. After I print to the PDF, I then, if I want a paper copy, tell it to print to my HP printer.
kcjenkins
I agree with Atticus, setting the default as PDF is the smart thing to do. It only takes seconds to select the actual printer if you want to, but printing to PDF first also allows you to preview and perhaps delete something like a worksheet that you don't need to give the client, and then with one more click you can print the PDF to the printer. joanmcq
I've got to admit, it's nice to have the print go to PDF by mistake, as I've done a couple of times, rather than have a hard copy start to print when I wanted a PDF like happened more than a few times in 2012!
