David
I am preparing a 2012 out of state tax return. Can CA 2012 personal tax returns still be e-filed in the ATX program? Thanks.

Lion EA
Isn't is current plus two prior years for e-filing?
Jack from Ohio
Isn't is current plus two prior years for e-filing? For IRS. California has their own rules.
Tax Prep by Deb
California began allowing e-file for past returns starting with 2012. I also e-filed a 2012 return which was accepted and the clients received their refund. Since California is now a part of the new e-file process it is possible, but only starting with 2012. Sorry Jack, this time your wrong. Deb
