TAXMAN
Computer gurus. using atx print to pdf. Puts it in my pdf file. I am still on adobe ver6. I want to send this to my client with a password on it. I try to password protect. It allows me to put the password in I want but won't save it until I exit the document. Try to save and I get "The document could not be saved. Bad parameter. Anybody know how to fix or anybody know how to password protect a return before sending it out? What are your thoughts? jklcpa
Have you considered updating to the current version? Keeping older versions like that presents a security risk.

Abby Normal
I used Signature995 to password protect PDFs. It's part of a suite for 19.95: http://www.pdf995.com/suite.html

easytax
That looks good! I took a quick look at the 995 package and may try that later this year to see if I can add anything that I do not have now. --- Thanks for suggestion. The PDFill does all I need right now except for an auto find system to make documents PDFillable with me marking the sections. But I saw it somewhere and WILL eventually find it again (note: I have asked PDFill to consider adding this).
Randall
I use pdfFactory for my ATX pdf printing. Once in pdfFactory, I can click on Acrobat button and convert to Acrobat. I have Acrobat 11.

Randall
Anyone hear of Foxit PhantomPDF? It came free with my new HP computer. Not sure if it is a full app or limited version. I haven't really looked at it.
