XP4ME
Has anyone had any of these where a living person's SSN is rejecting due to being taxpayer being 'deceased'? In checking with SSA, they deny that there is any death indicator on the SSN. IRS blames SSA and SSA is blaming IRS. We have two like this so far this season...UGHHH! Jack from Ohio
Paper File. There will not be an issue.
XP4ME
I know what to do, I was just asking if anyone else had seen any of these. And I'm not willing to guarantee that there will be 'no issue' even when paper filing.
Gail in Virginia
I haven't had the exact issue, but a friend of mine did not get her SS check one month because SSA said she was dead. She had to take all of her information to the local social security office and prove she wasn't before they started her checks again. Good thing she is not one of those people who have absolutely nothing every month until their check comes in.

Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana
SSA is aware of a glitch in their system and expects it to be fixed by 2/20
