You might try scanning them with more file compression. No matter what the size of the file, when you go to attach it, it will give you the warning that the file is too big. I just ignore the warning and the files go through.
gfizer
I had a large attachment last year (nowhere near 14mb, though) and ATX would not let me e-file the return. I finally ended up e-filing the return and sending the brokerage statement in with 8453. As Jack said, I almost always get the warning about 4562 attachment being too large but I ignore it and t sends without problems.
TAXMAN
I had one that atx said to big so I rescanned it in smaller pixels or dots or whatever there called and went on through.
Janitor Bob
I think I see what I did....I accidentally scanned in "Grayscale" instead of black and White. I'll re-scan tomorrow and hopefully get the file size down.
Richcpaman
Why are we resending information to the IRS that they already have?

And that we know they don't have the time to look at, nor should they.
windmill
I don't send brokeage statements. If my numbers don't add to the ones they have, then they'll ask. I also summarize by short term and long term. Been doing that for years.
