mdmcfarland
I update daily. I tried efiling a 1065 return. It would check out okay when I created the efile, but I always got an error message the next day. I finally gave up also and simply mailed the return. Asking about it here could have saved you some postage.
lydia33
I have efiled 1065, 1120 no problem since Feb.
mdmcfarland
I don't remember exactly what the error message was. It had something to do with name or number of some kind. I tried all I could think of to correct this and never could. Decided it was easier to paper file. No big deal, but it would have been handier if I could have efiled. hatlady
Had learned from years ago that the "manual update" is much better than the automatic update feature. You still can select all forms, then hit download.
Bart
Had learned from years ago that the "manual update" is much better than the automatic update feature. You still can select all forms, then hit download. You can also look over the list to see which forms have been updated. I always use manual download. That was some vague message about the name not being in the database. It doesn't even jump you to the place on the form where the error is. I, too, have given up and have paper filed all Partnerships so far. And, I update every day also.
