BulldogTom Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago It is time to get the new Desktop Computer. I have been shopping around a bit and I came across this. Intel 9 chip, 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Win 11 Pro, lots of ports, DVD player. Priced really well. Not seeing any terrible reviews online. I get everything I want but at about half the price of a Dell with similar specs. Any reason any of you know that I should not pull the trigger on this purchase? TIA Tom Longview, TX Quote
Abby Normal Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago It's so new that there aren't many reviews. It's not even in stock on the two sites I checked. It's probably fine. 1 Quote
Abby Normal Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago You might want to get the optional graphics card since this has built in graphics on the motherboard, but it might be adequate for business use. 1 Quote

Built in graphics on the motherboard to me is a sign of a lower end system Quote
BulldogTom Posted 20 hours ago Author Report Posted 20 hours ago This computer will primarily be used for ATX software and this Board. I don't do gaming or watch videos with it. Thanks for pointing that out. Tom Longview, TX 3 Quote
Lee B Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago I did find a few reviews that said solid system overall - average speakers with a grainy webcam. 1 Quote
mcb39 Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago Lenovo in itself is not a poorly rated piece of equipment. It was, after all, the child of IBM. I know that my IT person respects it. See if the warranty fits your needs and if you are only using it for what you say, it should be fine. 1 1 Quote
Gail in Virginia Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago The only concern I would have is how many monitors do you use? That might be a reason to get the optional graphics card - I have done no research, just suggest it as something you might want to check out. 1 Quote
Randall Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I'll probably go with HP later this year. I'm not that computer literate so I can't say on Lenovo or anything else. I just go with what I'm familiar with. Quote
