Dan
Catherine: Do you have a link to your "Tax Document Checklist" that you created in an earlier year to be used as an organizer? Just wondering! If not does anyone else have one that you wish to share?
Edward
The 2009 ATX program has a Tax Check List that you can use instead of an Organizer. Just add new forms, stating "Checklist" and there it is... Hope this is what you were looking for.

kcjenkins
Edward makes a good point. That new 'checklist' makes a simple 2 page form that is perfect for the simpler returns.
Catherine
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I Hope that either my list or the new one in ATX (which I haven't looked at yet) will be just what you need.
JRS
I Hope that either my list or the new one in ATX (which I haven't looked at yet) will be just what you need. The new ATX is fine, but it is a check list. Mass printed and no personality. Your's has a more personal feel to it and gives the client clarifications where check lists are just that, a check list. Thanks.

I've tweaked it many times over the years, and pretty much settled on this form. Every year I check for new tidbits -- may have to add in car purchase sales tax and house purchase HUD-1 forms as well. Catherine

Catherine I modified what you had prepared slightly and e-mailed it to most of my clients that have an e-mail address and also e-mailed it to a lot of people that attended the same high school I attended back in those golden days of yesteryear. If you did something good and reasonably universal, please let me know -- I might want those changes for myself! I'm sure you pulled out the Massachusetts frou-frou.
