I do this as a side ministry for pastors and religious workers only. All others I send to other preparers in the area. I have filed 196 returns so far and have 46 in the hopper on extensions. My problem is, this year I have done returns in 30 states and for missionaries in 4 or 5 countries. Really slows me down to make sure they are correct. Thank goodness there are people like Catherine who is willing to bail me out on a state return that I can't seem to get straight. I should have expressed my appreciation for all you folks before now, your knowledge base has proved to be a big help, and then there is Jack solving all my computer problems. This year would have been a lot tougher without all you folks here. Thanks. Have a great Easter! Remember, He is Risen!

OK, Tabby, but just one final thought, for those you don;t want to lose who don't do the internet, you could have a Mailbox etc, box AND have someone who you pay a small fee to collect the mail from there and deliver it to you, a couple of times a week. I used a similar system when I was staying with my husband in the hospital, although I did not have to get a new address. She brought my mail, then took my outgoing, etc.

I've actually been eating popcorn and stalking people on FaceBook a good bit today. Just realized my smoke alarm battery is dead; thought I had a bird in here for a couple hours there. Yeah, I may need help.

Me, too! I spent most of the day yesterday with slackers I mean people picking up, double checking stuff, and I would have missed two extensions if I hadn't. Also filed some city and county business tax returns for my year-round bookkeeping folks. I left at 5:15 and thought, "What do I do? It's still light outside." I'm here now catching up on bookkeeping and payroll tax returns. My office is a wreck, but it sure is nice with that phone not ringing and that door not opening. It's like a cruise really. Except for the sun and oil.
