I got one of these today w-2 with same codes. Then I found a 1099 from an insurance co with a different amount in box 3 other income. TP not sure where this came from. Ideas?

Hey Jack, I am still having crash problems. When I look at the event viewer on my workstation running xpro 4gig ram I keep seeing the same source as NET Runtime 4.0 error and then it tells me what the description error appears. Any idea what this might be?

Supposedly the hot fix will fix this. I tried to efile some, loader kicks out. Wait 3-4 minutes go back in get 1 step futher than b-4. I sure hope this is the problem. Everytime I get kicked out loader.exe seems to be the problem.

I stil cannot open a previously worked on return. Basically a 1040a return. Crash

I can't open one that has been previously rolled and worked on. crash

Installed 12-8. updated forms. go to return manager. try to open return. sits awile saying loading return. THEN MUST CLOSE DUE TO ERROR. Locks return. go to unlock and screen says NOT LOCKED. Friday evening and can't do a blasted thing. Anyone else having same problem of not being able to open a return you already had in the return manager?

Did rule change that more than 5% owner shareholder on health insurance owed Fica and Med on this amount. I knew we had to put it in wages on W-2. to get it to come off front of 1040.?????

TP age 26 made $2400.00. Went to school out of state. TP borrowed $ to go to school and pay R&B. Dad CO signed note. I think 2 old to be QC but maybe QR. What do you think? Due to distance TP didn't come home much and did a lot of summer school.

anybody that can help. Please. Have installed on server. Ran netsetup on 2 workstations running Win 7 and xp. Problem is rollover return and it will not show up in return manager untill exit and reenter. I have same problem in Efile. Create Efile it will not show up in efile manager untill I exit and reenter. Upon getting ACKs status in efile will not change unless I exit and reenter. Create efile. exit to see it in efile manager as created. Send efile. exit program. reenter to see that it was transmitted. Get acks. Exit and reenter to see accepted. Then do same process all over for State retun. I could sure use some help if anybody els had problem and what did you do? Thanks. checked all kbs and nothing seems to meet or helped my problem.

If you rollover a return does it show up in return manger right away? Also if you create an efile does it show up in efile manager right away? I find I must exit and renter to see em. Do I have a setting wrong?

If someone figures this out I would like to know also. Having a gawd awful time with rollovers and seeing them.

Virginia has it also but on most returns I have ever seen most nobody ever fills out return for this. We do ask but what do you do when tp says we didn't any. Virginia is voluntary on this form.

I will check my VA updates to be sure but the last one I checked it DOB spouse was 12312012 even though we had no spouse. I believe it also printed that info on client copy. Will check next one I do.

Hey Gail that Gremilin may go away after you hit their magic number. I would think that IF the return was being efile WHY the message. I too get it all the time on Virginia. Also check a Virginia Return for a single person on page two top left where it puts DOB and see if it puts in a spouse DOB of 12312012??

Hey, I am still having same problem with the rollover not showing up. Now I also nitice when I create the file it does not show up until exit and renter. Anybody else? My 12-6 update did not fix this.

Eric if you considered this would it be possible to cross link the two using a search function. Since ATX seems to be this year maybe only seperate them for this year to see what happens?

One nagging issue I still seem to be having when rolling over returns they are not showing up in the returns manager and after creating Efiles they are not showing up in Efile manager until I exit program and renter program. I also noticed after an Efile update the status of the return does not change utill I exit and renter. a LOT OF TIME LOST in all this exiting and reentering. Anybody else???

Anybody notice that on a single tp return that the program populates the spouse field with 12-31-2012. I can't find any rules that says this is correct. Anybody else have any idears. Tried to delete with overide and I get the funny little message.

Yes created Efile. closed return went to efile manager and it was not there. Exited program reentered program went to efile manager there it was. Then efiled Fed held state. Got acceptance on Federal tried to release state it would not. I gave up and went home. See what tomorrow brings.

With many states having a shortfall, don't be suprised if this doesn't happen. One thing I have seen is that Insurance salespersons having an office intown doesn't have to have a business license because of license by the state, however other business' must have one. So if you are licensed by FED should town be able to force you to buy another? A way for towns and state to make money. Just my 2 cents.
