  1. software to not print out the Tax Mailing Slip & Options for Client and Voucher Letters in every return. I've tried everything on the preferences box and on the letters tab in the return manager. It's no big deal I guess, but it does waste paper & toner. Thanks!! Eli

  4. I belive those drain times are the time when the IRS retrieves the files from the software company. I'm not sure there is a set schedule when they send out acks. Be patient they will come. Probably late afternoon or evening. Eli

    ACKS????

Agree with Deb. I'm telling my clients not to expect anything before Monday. Eli
  6. Kerry, that is an AWESOME pic!! About 3 years ago we were having a very stressful and heavy fire season here in South Texas. One of the visiting dispatchers thought it would be funny for all of us to wear Tiaras one day. Well being the good sport that I am (and the only male in the dispatch office), I wore mine all day long :-) It was a fun day to say the least and definitely was a stress breaker if even for one day :-) Eli

    Eric, please help

I guess it's a hit & miss kind of thing. It did it several times on the date of the initial post. Today I was able to log in with no problems, but it has done it several times in the past as well. Thanks! Eli

  15. Thank you all for the prayers!! Things got a little rough overnight, but we pretty much came out of it pretty good. Family is all well & no damage to any of our homes. Lots of people were not as fortunate especially those closer to the coast. I am back at work as of 630 am this morning. Lots of debris cleanup to do. Thanks again for all the prayers. I'm sure we're not completely out of the woods yet. We are downriver from the Rio Grande so that is still a concern. Eli

  18. Tom, I dont think you're anywhere close to mid-life yet??
  19. Kerry, I think that help was minimal compared to the help you have provided to us over the years. I am certainly happy for you & your family! I hope & pray that all continues to go well for you. Eli
  20. Haven't made it out there yet. Probably going to make it to San Antonio before I can get out to the island. Going to take Ivan to Seaworld then maybe Fiesta Texas. The weather has been good, just a little too warm a little too early. Not much chance for any rain until sometime in June is what the weather people have been saying. Sounds like you guys should have a fun trip. I pray all goes well for you. Eli
  21. Everything is ok. Thanks for asking. Broke my right hand about a month before the April 15th deadline. I had my cast removed last week and was able to finish most of the returns I had pending. Fire season hit early this year and I have been putting in about 30-40 hours of overtime a pay period at my regular job as well. It was a good season though. Still growing steadily. How are you & your family doing? When's the vacation kicking off?? Eli
  22. They say everything is big in Texas!! Eli
  23. Dave, Go to 'my controls' then board setting. In the center of the page the 3rd question: do you wish to view members avatars when reading posts: yes Eli
  24. Try this: http://techkb.atxforms.com/TSTKB.nsf/0/0f2...69?OpenDocument To repair the Atx200X.mdb file (2005 and earlier) Follow the steps in Document ID: 1761 to make sure that file extensions (such as .mdb) are visible. Right-click the appropriate ATX desktop shortcut, and then click Properties. On the Shortcut tab, click Find Target. Double-click the Database folder. On the View menu, select Details. Right-click the Temp_atx200X.mdb file, and then click Rename. Rename the file to Atx200X.mdb, and then press ENTER. Run the REPAIR.EXE program utility. Refer to Document ID: 43 for instructions. Document ID 1761: To display file extensions Right-click the Start button, and then click Explore. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options. In the Folder Options window, click the View tab. Under Advanced settings, deselect the Hide file extensions for known file types box. Click Apply, and then click OK. Document ID 43: Running the 2005 REPAIR.EXE utility Select the Log each field as it is verified (extremely slow) check box in the REPAIR.EXE utility only if you encounter problems when running this utility. To run the 2005 REPAIR.EXE utility Quit all programs that are currently running. Right-click the ATX2005 desktop shortcut, and then click Properties. On the Shortcut tab, click Find Target. Double-click the REPAIR.EXE file. Under Location of file to repair, select the hard drive on which your software was installed. Select the ATX2005 folder, and then click the Database folder. Under File to repair, select the Atx2005.mdb file. Click Repair It. When the repair process is complete, your ATX software will function normally. The REPAIR.EXE utility removes all existing user names, so you must re-register all users after running the utility. Hope this helps!! Eli
