This year, I emailed him his return in pdf format and I solved my printing issues. I have not explored the pdf printing factory yet, but I would like to know how to add a password to the pdf file. I have noticed that the last 4 digits of their ss# or their zip code is a good way of doing that. Can that pdf file be created and automatically assign the last 4 digits as its password? Jack from Ohio Posted September 15, 2012 Report Share Posted September 15, 2012 If you are using Windows XP, the pdf factory is on the 2004 ATX CD. Look on the CD and run pdfinstall.exe. But about a year ago I bit the bullet and bought a brand-new, registerable copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 off ebay for very small money. Password protecting, encryption, _editing_ (highlighting, adding text, etc). On top of that, I added a utility named "Tic, Tie, and Calculate" sold by cpaperless and it has been extremely helpful, very easy to use, and also wasn't much money.
