Windows 10 is being forced on me.

Here is the best article I have seen about dealing with the WIN 10 PIA bug...

It is a little bit technical, but there are a couple of places with simple instructions.

Microsoft has been changing to a bad-ass bully about this, and many users are fed up with it.

My laptop did that.  I didn't accept the terms, so it went back to 7 taking a very long time.  But, it went back.  Not updating during tax season.  Probably not updating until it's a new computer.

(I'd followed some instructions I read here to keep my desktop from asking to upgrade, but hadn't gotten around to doing that on my lesser used laptop.  Now, I can't find those instructions.)
