She has been doing payroll on medlin for a couple years and now we are adding the insurance to the wages.

Taxpayer buys a house in different town. Daughter is going to college and its a 4 bedroom home.. They will be renting out 3 of the other bedrooms to other students. So 75% rental and 25% for daughter who is not paying rent. Can this be a rental at 75% or does this fall into the vacation home because its used more than 14 days or 10% of days rented as personal use.
Any help

I don't think so. they will mail back entire return and tell you to sign it an file again. I know from experience with 2 different clients. One lost the rebate until this year because he filed on Oct 14th and didn't sign and then they sent back sometime in December and he sign return and sent back before end of year but still no rebate.

Oregon has a very very tough licensing law and I think it helps and weeds out the unlicensed non-educated preparers.
its hard to pass test, required 30hrs of update education every year. and tax board has a large staff that goes around and checks on licensees and non licensed people. they are very active in weeding out.
actually Federal is looking at the way Oregon does it and is thinking of following our system for the federal license
no it goes on line 7 with sch and fellowships. bunny hop I don't know why came on 1099 the one I have came with a letter and then next year was on a w-3 with no ss or medicare. She could even contrib to the 401 k plan based on that money. the W-2 looked really weird
received a 1099-LTC with amount in box 1 ( gross long term care benefits paid)
box 3 checked for reimbursed amount.
I'm not sure what to do with this.
Where do I report it. I know can't take medical deductions if it was reimbused. Is this income and then I take the medical?
